Jon Schumacher spent a number of years working in theatre and television in New York, where he was dedicated to developing new writers. In addition to working with companies like New York Theatre Workshop, New Dramatists, and The Atlantic, he was also the founder and Artistic Director of Singularity Productions, a company that developed new work in theatre and film. The company was called “one of the city’s fastest-rising and most promising collectives” by the Village Voice and received numerous awards from the New York and Edinburgh Fringe Festivals. He also worked on various television shows like DIRTY SEXY MONEY, LAW & ORDER, and RESCUE ME. Prior to joining 2S, he worked for Alexander Payne’s company, Ad Hominem Enterprises. He is a graduate of Northwestern University and studied film at NYU.
